In the English classes in Secondary we have celebrated #EuropeDay and have learnt a lot of things about the European Union, its history, symbols, member states... and we have played Kahoot.
This is celebrated to commemorate the date of the historic Schuman declaration, considered to be the beginning of what is today's European Union.
Post a comment with something you have learnt this
day.
This celebration is a chance for reflection on what peace, cooperation and solidarity have built, and what we hope to achieve in the future. On this day, the EU invites citizens from across Europe to learn more about the EU's institutions, how it works and what the EU can do for them.
The focus of all EU institutions on this day is to engage young people in the context of the European Year of Youth, which is the main theme this year.
