Skypeathon

On Tuesday 29th November the World Day Skype was celebrated. In Salesianos Los Boscos we joined this activity thanks to the teacher Gullermo Medrano, who organised with the Language Department a Skype Marathon in which students from different ages and courses participated. 

Films Based on True Stories

4th ESO students have been working on a project about films: Films Based on True Stories! They have researched about the film, the story, the actors, the reviews, the plot... and these are their presentations. They are really good!

Irish cities

The students from 2A Secondary are travelling around Ireland and visiting different cities. Have a look at their blog entries to see where they are going and what they are visiting. Aren't they great?

We can design maps!!

 Our students from 1st year of Secondary School have been designing a map of an imaginary city. On a large piece of paper, the had to draw the main buildings including the tourist information office.

Ann Martin, the new Teacher assistant

Ann Martin is from Letterkenny, an amazing town in the north of Ireland. She is going to be with us during this academic year and She will help us to improve our  level of English with fantastic activities and games.

Big Challenge Prizes 2016

We’got the prizes!!!

On Tuesday 3rd May a group of students of 2nd, 3rd and 4th of Secondary participated in the English contest-game Big Challenge.   The Big Challenge is aimed to all students of secondary education and consists of a test- type questionnaire. Students have to answer questions about grammar, vocabulary, phonetics and civilization. 

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Refuse

Big Challenge 2016

New edition of the English contest-game Big Challenge and as we have been doing for a few years in May Secondary students   participate in this contest.

More USA States

Continuing with the work that we started last year, secondary students have been learning a little bit more about the USA and its states. With the help of Penelope, our Teacher assistant, they have worked on posters, which later have been hung on the gallery, and in the end they have played a game on the computers to see how much they remember.

Shakespeare's celebration
